Hello, and welcome. My name is Allison Seremjian. I was born and raised in Michigan but am currently living in the Kansas City area. I am an itinerant teacher for the deaf and hard of hearing in a public school district. I received an undergraduate degree in deaf education from Michigan State University and I am currently studying in their Master of Arts in Educational Technology (MAET) program.
I have always been drawn to education and working with students. I had amazing teachers influence my life when I was growing up, and I can only hope and work to be influential to my current students. Initially, I was interested in other fields and content areas. However, after many different experiences, I found a passion and heart for special education, specifically deaf education.

I have many interests and hobbies outside of education as well. I am a certified open water scuba diver, love to ride rollercoasters, and love to swim in the summer. One of my favorite things to do is read! I always try to find time to read a diversity of genres and authors. It also helps me to pursue being a life long learner.
